We're thrilled to announce the opening of our new restaurant and bar, Dirty Habit DC, on September 26. In the meantime, we continue to offer 24-hour room service as well as grab-and-go breakfast service and a satellite bar in the library most evenings. And of course, there's a wealth of other dining options just steps outside the hotel; please see below for our top recommendations.
24-Hour In-Room Dining
We continue to offer full in-room dining service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a "light fare" menu that's available 24 hours a day. Peruse our in-room dining menus here.
In addition to in-room breakfast service, as well as our complimentary morning coffee and tea service, our grab-and-go breakfast is served daily from 7-10 a.m., offering fruit, yogurt, parfaits, muffins, croissants, oatmeal, and breakfast sandwiches with sausage, egg, and cheese.
After the wine hour hosted nightly from 5-6 p.m., join us in the hotel library at our satellite bar, offering a selection of beer, wine, and well drinks from 6-10 p.m., Tuesday - Thursday, and from 6-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
We are blessed to have some of the city's hottest restaurants and most popular casual eateries at our doorstep. The following are our top recommendations; all are within 2 blocks of the hotel.
On the upscale end, we highly recommend SEI (Japanese Fusion), Tosca (Northern Italian), Fiola (Italian), and Daikaya Ramen and Izakaya, as well as the four nearby restaurants by Jose Andres: Oyamel Cocina Mexicana, Jaleo (Tapas), Zaytinya (Mediterranean), and China Chilcano (Asian Peruvian).
For a more casual lunch or dinner, try La Tasca for tapas and paella, or Zengo, a Latin-Asian outpost by Richard Sandoval. Pi Pizzeria serves up both deep-dish and thin-crust pizzas as well as craft beers, while Rosa Mexicano offers upscale, modern Mexican cuisine. The eclectic American menu at Matchbox includes a variety of wood-fired pizzas, while Clyde's – a two-story "Grand Victorian saloon" – has a sports theme inspired by the adjacent Verizon Center. Hill Country BBQ and Legal Sea Foods are also recommended.
For sandwiches, you can't go wrong with Jettie's or Taylor Gourmet. At ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen you can build your own rice/noodle/salad bowl, while Nando's Peri Peri is known for their Portuguese grilled chicken flavored with African bird's eye chiles. Chop't (salads) and Chipotle are nearby too.
